Well I thought that was what it meant but wasn't positive. That's why I love questions cause you never know what ya might learn... i have had this for about 4 year before my friend gave it to me. It belonged to her mother-inlaw before she passed away and she had it for many many years I do know.

The spout has minor old chips and there is no cracks. Is crazing the lines & if so no there isn't. I have no idea who the maker is honestly. Thanks and fanning ya back.
