Beautiful and useful Nursery Decor Vintage Ceramic PLANTER or CACHE Pot - made in Japan by Maso Ware SHAFFORD - marked and numbered 4604 - Baby arriving in a Blanket in Relief with Applied Flowers, opening at the top of the blanket for a ribbon or string. - c1950's to 1960's.
It is 5 1/2" wide x 6" tall x 3" deep. The opening is 2 1/4" tall x 2 3/4" across x 5 1/2" wide. Baby w/blanket & flowers are in 3D by about 1/2" from planter.

This is a wonderful piece of history. The sticker from the SHAFFORD CO. is still on the bottom of the planter. There are 10 beautiful flowers surrounding the adorable baby. The bottom left, yellow flower has two petals chipped off but that is the only problem with this planter! There are NO other chips, cracks, or chiggers in the wonderful piece of art. There are some discolored spots that come with age.
