Do you have an documents showing authenticity, on this or any of your auctions? Just curious. (Not downing your stuff at all, it's all really cool and interesting, I'm just wondering if any of them come with documents?)

I wasn't trying to be smart or anything. I just didn't understand about old stuff like this. I asked my husband about it when he got home and he explained it to me like you did. I understand now. I didn't mean to offend you or anything.

This would fall under the title of "Trench Art" - items made by servicemen during lulls in battle. During WWI, soldiers made the most amazing vases out of old shell casings! Do a Google Image Search for "WWI Trench Art" and you'll see what I mean. Some of those vases sell for hundreds of $$$.

@ blmgtn_rezident: I looked at the images on Google and saw some of those vases. I have never seen anything like that, they are very neat! Thank you for sharing that info!
