Even though it has a faint Liberty the rest of the detail (obverse & reverse) is quite strong.
There was a house that burnt down in the 1930's in this little town I live in. It had a cellar w/ lime stone walls and a dirt floor. When they rebuilt they knocked the old house down into the cellar and built new on the limestone foundation. It burnt down in the late 1950's. Same thing, built on the same limestone. Again in 2008. I work for the contractor doing the dirt work for the new house. new basement, foundation etc. We've dug up 3 houses out of that hole. This coin along with a few others were found at the bottom of the heap. This one has not been cleaned. (most were not so lucky)
It has a little "M" scratched in the top. I don't know if that adds to it's character or devalues it. You be the judge
