The listing, Beautiful Buddha of Unknown origin has ended.

This is at least 60 years old and has been on my altar for many,many years.
It is hand-carved,painted red and then painted over in gold.
The country of origin is unknown to me.
It brings peace.

Couple of questions.. What is this carved from.. Rock, brass, etc ... ? Also, maybe take a guess for how much it weighs for me... ? Ah.., what the heck. I came pretty close to guessing the height.. How about if I guess 4.5 pounds... :)

My Father was in the military and we traveled the all over the world. He was also stationed in Manila during WWII during the occupation of the Japanese.
