This auction is for a Good to Very Good condition, Series of 1923 "HORSEBLANKET" $1 Silver Certificate.

I have supplied both pictures and scans of this certificate to display the reasons of the lower grading of this certificate and to show the size of the bill. Yes, that is some removal of ink on the reverse side.

The Series of 1923 Silver certificate was nicknamed the "HORSEBLANKET" because of its size. The pictures show it next to a coin so that you can see that it is the, older, over sized bill at 7 1/2 X 3 inches. The quarter in pictures 3 & 4 is not included in this auction.

For those who will be looking it up, it is the "BLUE SEAL" with the signatures of Speelman - White. I have added a GIN as well to this auction and when you do look it up, you will see that, as usual, the GIN is set very low for the actual worth of this Bill.
