This flat iron has silicone plates to protect hair, as well as a dial that can go up to 420 degrees.

Please note that the numbers (1-10) have rubbed off the dial. However, this does not affect the operation of it.

It has also been disinfected, though only used on hair after being shampooed and blown dry.

A note to Canadian listians: I apologize, but this will not be offered for shipment to Canada due to the plug being for the US only.
