I try. I believe a good attitude is so important & if I can make someone smile, maybe they will pass it on. Thank you for looking at my auctions. If you do not mind, can I ask you a question? Do you think my starting bid prices are lower than normal on Listia? Or at least most of them?

Your starting bids are fine. We all used to start that low but somehow it has gotten crazy out of whack, in my opinion! It can almost be no fun with such high bids, sorry to say. I feel like quitting Listia sometimes but I think of the fun of getting mail and all the nice people I meet. So just put up small things like postcards, fabric and even a pattern every once and awhile costing no more than a stamp or two to send out, and I get what I get, start only at 499 also. Your auctions are just fine, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Just have fun.

Thank you, I do this for fun too. I have bunches of credits but remember what it was like when I started & things were so high in credits. Some people list things at 1 million credits; that is like $45 ..are they nuts! I want new people to be able to bid on my stuff & have a chance. And like you said, I pick most items that I can use 1 or 2 stamps on.

When I started no one ever thought of ever getting to a million, like I said it has gotten crazy. I still try to keep it fun too and keep my starting bids low. I don't care what the value of Listia $ is, this suppose to be fun and I am trying to keep it that way like you are too. Sometimes I practically give my credits away just because I have so many and don't know what to do with them. It is just fun!! Have a great day!!
