The listing, WWII sewing Kit from 1920's has ended.

Very old sewing kit from the WWII time period. Hand crochet basket with old spools of neutral colored thread inside. I believe this was a mending kit used by ladies to repair stockings back before nylons were invented. Was part of my mother's estate.

History note: WWII was fought 1939-1945
There was no war in the 20s ;-)

Thanks for the info! I put down 1920's because that was when my mother was probably the age where she used this kit. But now that I think on it all the old postcards dad sent to mom during the war was in the 1930's!! So this kit is either pre-war or during that time periid. :)
