Description

The listing, Mixed lot #2 unknown but gorgeous stone cabochons trio FREE shipping in the USA has ended.

Mixed lot of 3 BEAUTIFUL stone cabochons
approximately 30x40mm
Exactly as shown in my photos. These are hard to photograph...I'm sorry the photos are not better. Will take more during daylight hours :)

Please read entire description.

I am not experienced with this type of jewelry making stuff. I was given a lot of supplies by a kind relative and I'm listing here some of the items I don't want to work with personally.

I am also listing several other auctions of stone cabochons, please check out my other auctions.

Apologies, but since I am not an expert in stones I do not know what these are. You'll probably get a really incredible deal as a result of my ignorance! :) lol.

The plastic ruler is for size reference and is not included in the auction.

Free shipping with tracking, carefully packed. No GiN, no shortening of days, please do not ask. The end of this auction is timed so I can afford to mail it within a day or two of auctions conclusion.

These look just like some opal cabs that I have. I'm pretty sure thats what they are. Only mine are a little smaller.

the way to tell the difference in moonstone and opalite is opalite has a pinkish hue to it and moonstone has more of a bluish tint to it.
Opal in this size would be pretty expensive. Opal is my birthstone so I am always on the lookout for them ! BTW Hi, Pam!!

Hi Kathy! :) These do not have a blue to them at all, if anything it is pink tint. My sister spends a fortune on stuff like this & gives it to me when she's bored. I came home from my last visit with 2 shoe boxes full of strands of stone beads as well as a few of these awesome pieces I can't use. One of them, the first auction in my list, has a $95 price tag on it! Yowsa.

These are opalite, not opal not moonstone. Opalite is a man made gem 90 percent are the man made with some glass, natural opalite is made from volcanic ash and much harder to find but can be found in Africa and Brazil. I hope that helps, wonderful auction.

I have a hard time, for some reason, figuring Opal/ite and Moonstone. My husband seems to be attached to Moonstone (one of his birthstones). He seems to think that's what these are. (I don't really agree with him, honestly. I think Opal also) I gave him something that looks just like these but very tiny double terminated piece. He's had it in his tool pouch ... thing, he uses for his job for three years. So he wants a new one :P Watching, hopefully bidding!

I'm new to using stone in my jewelry at all and am unsure what lots of things are unless marked! :) Your husband could be right...if he's got a connection to the stone, who knows?? :) Hope your day is going well!! :)
