Nice old vintage crime murder mystery book published in 1945, stated first edition, entitled "Murder by Proxy," published by Doubleday, Doran & Co, for The Crime Club, has blue cloth hardcover with 192 pages. The book appears to be in very nice shape for the age, entirely bound, the text pages appear clean, readable, without apparent marks, tears, or folds, and there is only light wear to the cover and Banta's book store stamps inside the front cover with a few pencil lines. Otherwise, a beautiful old 1st edition collectible crime story book.
