This phone has a SIM card that can be used for either a paid plan or a pre-paid plan through T-Mobile. Or, you can use the phone for your plan. I used this phone as BOTH a paid plan AND pre-paid. There are additional APPS added that I will leave on the phone. Phone is in great condition; the only flaw(s) are a few tiny teeth marks from my newborn puppy! they are located on the uppermost right-hand corner on phone, and a little on the black part on the back of the phone, also on the top. There is a slot for a Micro SD card as well. Phone works great!!! Yes, this phone receives Wi-Fi. (NOTE: Having difficulty uploading photos today. I will keep trying!)
