The listing, Silk Hankie Project has ended.
A project that I know that I won't finish. Maybe one of you wants to finish it or take it apart and find a new project for it. The pics show the colors pretty accurately.
Here's what you get:
*50 grams of Mawata silk hankies (this includes the amount used in the finished mitten)
*50 yards of Moho Kiddie yarn (86% kid mohair & 14% nylon) (this includes the amount used in the finished mitten)
*Booklet which includes instructions on how to pull hankie into yarn and how to knit or crochet with it as well as the pattern for the mittens.
Some ideas to use the silk hankies for:
*make hankies into yarn (with or without spinning it) to knit or crochet with
*leave in hankie form and wet felt with wool to create a scarf
Silk is warmer than wool however one of the cons of silk is that it catches on things that aren't smooth.
Smoke free and cat loving home but it is stored away from the cat.
