This is a great old "MOTHER" box.Has a trapezoid shape: measures 6" across the bottom up to 6 3/4" at the top. Measures about 2 1/2" high and 4" across.
Made of wood..maybe redwood.
It is carved on the front..has heartstrings, the word MOTHER, and Jamestown VA
I think this box was made in the 1960's, possibly 70's
It does not have a lock and key but it does have little indentations for your fingers to open the top, easily.
In very nice condition!
