Listia charges $40 per 6000 credits so that would makes 1000 credits worth just short of $7, not $2, wouldn't it?

Yes, if you used listias out ragious system that adds up but honestly when have you seen a dollor store item go for over three thousand credits? So if I put up a highend item say like a too faced lip gloss costs $18 I would only set gin at 7777 and offer a bonus. Just causr listia charges that much you shouldnt. They only charge that mich for a few extra credits you need to get something and would rather you earn and the more credits you get the cheaper they are you see? You have to avarage out dollar per credits ratio for items you list on a average based on what that peticular item useually closes at.

I meant to say....I WORK my auctions. I'm there as much as I can be and give lengthy descriptions and do my utmost to make the auctions fun, fun, fun, building them into a cresendo towards the final bidding. I don't just put up an auction and check back after it's over. Not saying you are like that anic2528 (LOL) but I have seen many who are plus they never answer any questions and are rude too. I'm just saying because I (and others) who hold fun or interesting auctions should value their credits gained from the bidding, that's all.

I think everyone should value their credits everyone works for them. Doesnt matter if you try to go the extra mile or not...and allthose who dont even respond or answer questions during an auction never get my bid. They shouldnt be on listia. If I am bidding on something I always leave a comment, if theres no reply then I delete from my watch list dossnt matter how.much I wanti it. If they ignore you you wile auctions up, how about if you never get your item?? Yean right.

Dont appoligise honey, its no problem. If you need anything, feel free to ask, that is how we learn.

GIN- GET IT NOW. It means I offer this auction to all bidders, and it will close at whatever people bid it up to, UNLESS GIN is clicked. Push GIN and the auction immedaitly stops and you pay the set asking price, (credits) for the auction and become the auctions winner instantly.

I truly love the gin option. If I really want something and the gin is fair, I use this option all the time. If fact most of my won items are gined from auctions.
To understand a gin price and to determine if its fair, you tranform credits to dollars. That is as follows. 1,000 credits = $2.00 and dont forget to add in shipping as well if the seller is willing to pay for the shipping. Also if bonuses for using gin are offered, take that into consideration as well.

Hope this helps!
Have more questions feel free to ask, I dont not mind honestly.

I have two listed. And med beige is not very light. By your profile pic it looks as though it would be too dark if anything. But thank you. Good luck to you

Hey, thanks, I just checked your other foundation & am watching it too. I think I'm winning your lipstick too. I agree with your above statements. I always average out my cost per credit when I come home from the PO & it seems to be consistently around 2-5 cents / credit so if I win something for 1000 credits, I've spent 2-$5 on postage, not counting packaging & tape although I'm ALWAYS reusing mailing envelopes & have even made my own out of fancy paper shopping bags

I think that I have had pretty good luck with my auctions, and have most of them close at credit amounts that I feel are pretty fair for the shipping and cost of the auctions and my time. Sometimes I feel like I have a great item that will do very well and it will do better than I think and sometimes the oppasite happens. But at any rate I love listia and have met some pretty amazing people and it makes all of the good and bad worth it plus more. Either way I feel we all win if it brings is happiness, joy or products you normally wouldnt be able to obtain, or even have knowlage of..

I wish you all the luck, and hope you have had a great listia experience as well and get the items that bring you and your family or friends happiness, and have met some great new friends as well. Thank you so very much and I love your neat and creative ways of saving on shipping costs and am happy to know someone else has the same great recycling habits with reusing envolopes and such.

Good luck to you

Yep, Listia IS fun & I've met & made some friends on here too. I recycled one bubble envelope & enclosed a note to the Listian that I thought it was the 3rd time used....LOL I think most Listians ARE into recycling or they wouldn't be on here. My BEST find was 2 lift tickets to a nearby ski resort here in Pa. that I won in Nov. for 700 credits & gave to my 21 yr. old niece. Just won a 3 DVD set of Cher (old TV shows, interviews & of course songs) for my brother's birthday for just over 3000 credits I think....would have NEVER found something so cool & personal as that as a gift without Listia....some days are like "Christmas at the mailbox"...lol

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree....because I feel my credits are worth MORE, not less than Listias ratio system because I worked for them by holding entertaining auctions with worthwhile items up for bid.

Well it is what it is. I have yet to see a highemd lip gloss for for 18,000+ credits. It wont. A nintindo ds yes but not a lipgloss. And its ok if you value your credits more. You should you have worked hard to earn them. And if you dont ask for high enough then you never geteven half way to fair. So it is what it is. Good luck
