Up for bid is a wonderful quilting book by Gai Perry, "Impressionist Quilts".

This author's technique for impressionist landscape quilts goes beyond other methods of "painting" with fabric. Individual flowers are cut for each square then placed on point. Placing the squares on point helps to create the illusion of a real painting.

Included in this book are four step-by-step quilt projects and a gallery of 28 landscape quilts that you can reproduce by using the steps.

Originally published at $24.95. 128 pages; softcover with beautiful color photos. 8½" x 11". Asking $3 towards the shipping on this one.

It's a matter of correct cutting more than anything. I haven't made anything from this book, but I've absorbed the information, and when I have more time, I'm definitely going to try this!
