The listing, jetbook jetta pc laptop has ended.
This is a Jetta Jetbook laptop 6120. It is an OLD model. When we bought our house, it had been left behind. I do not have a charger for it, but I can use my camcorder charger to charge it enough to check it to see if it works. I have not fully charged it, but have charged it enough to know that it does charge up and will hold it for a little while. Additional details...... Will be back home is about an hour and will post more details.
I am going to see if I can find a charger for it. I am using my camcorder charger and there is not enough juice coming out of it apparently. I cannot leave the camcorder charger plugged up when I turn it on because it turns the light orange on the charger. And, when I unplug the charger and turn it on, it only stays on for five or ten minutes. But, I will get a pic of it on asap.
Is this the same laptop that was listed on Ebay with the same picture? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item416312a3c2&item=280835040194&nma=true&pt=Laptops_Nov05&rt=nc&si=maCn0TUBz7besBOYYGeYcKONIvk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
No, this is not the one on ebay. I did not have pics of it at the time I posted, so I borrowed one that came close till I could post mine. I have added the pics of the actual laptop. So, for the confusion.
I dont know what cd rom drive means. But if you mean the door that opens to put cd's in, then yes. Again, I apologize, I do not know anything about computers. I might have to be walked through some questions.
Wow, that thing IS old. I'm showing it takes a 144 pin SD Dimm, far as I can tell 256mb max.I'm guessing it's probably a pre Pentium CPU, Probably a DX chip or something. Would probably be good for older DOS games, maybe a lower version of MAME with some small roms.
I'll bet you could install Ubuntu on it. I wouldn't think the machine would be capable of handling XP.
