It's a process of sterilization which is required to make them legal to pierce someone with. If it came out of a box it wasn't. They are sold to studios and by federal and state law need to be autoclaved before they can be used on a person.
You should add a disclaimer that people with sensitive skin should not use gas sterilized needles. Also, with gas sterilized needles you should subtract about 3-6 months off the expiration date. Just trying to help. When these needles fall into the hands of the general public things usually go wrong. Whoever is the top bidder PLEASE do some serious reading before you stick someone. I have pierced just about every body part you can imagine on myself and others and you can do SERIOUS damage if you're not educated in even basic physiology,
I have had several of these needle auctions and never had any issues with anyones piercing. I have also used these needles to pierce several items. I appreciate your opinion and do understand where you coming from.
Just be careful if you end up shipping them to NY. Disguise them very well. Our stupid state likes to seize everything fun. We're not even supposed to use dermal punches here to do dermal anchors but manage to get them.
I just like to look out for fellow body modifiers. The tiniest little thing tends to tarnish reputations. Laws up here are pretty hardcore so I get pretty nervous when I see things like this. Don't worry, got mad love for ya =D
