Can I still download this even if I have not downloaded the Sims 3 yet on my computer? I just won another auction where I can get the sims and a few expansion packs but I am waiting to hear from the seller to give me the info needed to download them.

That's illegal, just so you know. YOU purchased the game, not them. That doesn't mean you can sell the game to others or let them use your account. I'm reporting you.

actually, this seller is giving the game away, not selling it. It would be no different than me going to the store, buying the sims 3 pets, deciding i dont want it, and handing it to my neighbor for her to have it...or selling the game in a yardsale for that matter. once a person has bought a game it is theirs to do as they please, now if she was copying the game and selling it, now that would be illegal for their is a copyright law

the difference is that if you buy 3 copies and give 2 away, you stilled paid for the 3 copies. Paying for one copy and giving away , what would technically be copies of his copy, is copyright infringement.
