They are 1/4" long -sorry, I don't have a metric ruler at the moment!

okay....there are right at 2.54 cm in an inch. or 25.4mm in an inch. these are abouit one fourth inch long, so i divided 25.4 by 4 and got 6.3. so they are approx. 6.3mm.
sorry, just couldn't resist. had too much science in my educational background and we always had to convert to and from metric. maybe this will help?
