If tapers are only for stretching then why do the make them in so many colors designs and most of the shops sell them in pairs? My ex has been piercing and tattooing for almost 25 years he has his own shop in Oregon for 20 but I have never heard that. Is there something he never told me? :) Do you auction off gauges sometimes?

its more when you get to the larger sizes, like 1/2" and up that it causes uneven stretching. and yes, i do auction off plugs and other gauges occasionally :)
