The silver peace dollar was minted from 1921-1928 and then again from 1934-35; This coin was minted in 1922; a lot of the details and writing is visible on the coin. It makes a beautiful silver pendant and others wore it as a pendant on a chain, as a good luck piece. The front of this coin is graced with the head of Lady Liberty, and the reverse contains the image of a majestic bald eagle. The artwork / design was that of Antonio de Francisci an Italian immigrant born in 1887.
