Heya dawn how the heck are ya =) long time no hear i wish you the best of luck and thanks for your comments, i love sajen and nicky butler and all these wonderful silversmith type peoples man i could shop all day with those folks =) i have a tanzanit i am thinking of putting up here but debating cause i have lost so much in the gemstone department onhere its a 9x7 2 and 1/2 carat aaaa quad a grade nice and dark blue purple but i am afraid some do not know the staure of tanzanite and i will lose big, but its rolling in the back of my head whether to do it or not

Oh I know what you mean. i have a true Blue Zircon ring that is in yellow gold, which I do not wear anymore, and it has two diamonds on each side of it and I paid over $500 for it, and I am afraid to list it. Same reason, I am scare that I will loose big time on it, as there are not many people that know what a true Blue Zircon is to really look like. It is so lovely but would take a fortune to reset. It is a size 5 1/2 and was sized for me, etc. I know my Tanzanites and you can not even get them in the US anymore unless they are older. Tanzania is not importing/exporting them anymore due to laws, etc. So once you could get them at jewelers here, but not anymore and the color has to be just right. My engagement right was only 1/4 carat one in a nice white gold setting and it was $550 (second marriage, etc). Believe me, I know they go for thousands in the right color and size. If you put it up, I will bid nice on it, but I can not say, as you know, that you would get what it is worth. You know that. But anyhow, I want these earrings, so I will be trying hard. I wish I had known BEFORE you listed them. Hugs.

If i had know you were looking for something like this i would have emailed you and told you i was going to put them up, i have a whole list of peoples names over here on my desk that say if you list this contact this person if you list that contact this person and so on and so forth lol the list is a mile long mostly on the gem kits and handmades with the druzy stone in it =) i appreciate you returning to my auctions it means alot to me , yes and the tanzanite i have the jeweler said to replace it would be 7400.00 and retail in the stores that would sell it would be over 11.000 so i know what your saying friend and the same goes for zircon especially tanzanian or cambodian zorcon youch thats a hot commodity in the gem world and worth tons, i just got rid of some brazillian watermelon tourmaline last week that went no where what its worth lol so that was just a tester before i put the tanzy up but didnt go so well so i am hesitant

Well on Etsy, I get tanzanites for less than $50 in a small pendant, but they are coming from Japan, as they can get them easily there. Tourmalines and all are reasonable there. Not here, we have so many laws and taxes and costume issues that it drives the price up. Oh well, we do what we can, etc. Live and learn.

You are very welcome, i have a lot of richard and marianna jewelry in fact they are some of the people that inspired me, soon i will be putting up some pure silver goddesses of my own making, i am learning the carving now i already know how to set and braze the stones in i have all the tools i just have to wait untill my carving material comes in and i will be on my way to making my own pure silver .999 and genuine gemstone goddesses like the one i have up now but she is not pure silver shes 925 but beautiful, thanks for your comments and thanks for stopping by my auction =)
