They are used to hold jewelry in place on jewelry boards. They can have other uses but that is mainly what they are used for.

thank you! and i know this is silly and stupid, but just to make sure (because i have screwed up in the past), the teardrops are glass, right? you say crystal, and that means glass. i don't work with acrylics or plastics and i have accidently bid and won a couple of those auctions. thank you for your patience and understanding. the teardrops are gorgeous.

It is not silly to ask questions. Thats what we learn to do so we do not get what we do not want. YES they are glass with 28 facets. I do have more of these is you have a project where you would need more. Let me know and I can list them.

They are 1/8" under 3/4"long and 1/2"at the widest part of the bottom.
