Definitely a bad idea to let it close. There's a video on YouTube of a girl that let hers close due to infection and the results were worse than any infection I've ever seen before. As for the auction, Sirus, I'm fanning you, but don't think I'll be needing this bar since my piercer is giving me one. :(

Fair enough. i might have a shorter one if you need it. the standard one they pierce with is 1.5" unless you plan it ahead and have them measure and custom order one for you. thanx and fanned back.
