The listing, **Beautiful Vintage 925 Garnet Earrings** has ended.

a vintage pair of Garnet Earrings stamped with fas 925 on the backs. I looked it up and it stands for "fused alloy silver" means it is 925 pure silver mixed with 75 parts of something else such as copper. these are very beautiful earrings. I purchased them as vintage, they have a nice pantina on them and come in the box shown, which is the box I got them in. I guess you could clean them if you wanted to. lever back. I have never seen this lever back on vintage...but then I had not seen it at all until very recently! Betting they are "vintage look" I see so much stuff mis- posted that way, or as "Victorian, when it is actually Victorian style. beautiful tho, and I LOVE this kind of back!

I purchased them from someone saying they were vintage so I have no way of knowing for sure only what I was told and I looked up the fas 925 before I ever listed them.

yes, and I do so appreciate that! I was just surprised by the wires, but love love love them! Great Auction. Yes, I have won a few things on here that are "vintage" or " Victorian" that were nothing of the kind, although the styling could suggest it. GREAT auction btw//are these heavy? I basically have this tiny little baby earlobe (I can literally wear the earrings they use to pierce babies...) to I have to be careful of weight or they look droopy =(

well, they aren't very heavy but they are solid, if you have little earlobes they may look big or feel heavy to you or look droopy. I don't know and I don't have a way to weigh them.hmmm. I don't know.
