Found this Penny and I'm not sure why it is this color. It is not a Steel War Time Penny because it does not have the Wheat Back. Not sure what year it is because the front is damaged a little. Either way I figured I'd put it up here so it can find a good home. Happy bidding! Fast free shipping!

This is a coin that has had it's plating chemically removed. Seen many of these since they changed the metal composition of the cent in 1982.

Also, there are some 1974 & 1975 copper cents that have been aluminum plated to pass off as the rare aluminum cents...

yes dsmith0429 i was thinking it might be one of the aluminum cent patterns they did in the early 70's but couldnt remember what year they did that cent looks like it says 1975 on it
