Night blooming orchid cactus. Blooms are 6+" wide. Open at night. Watching it open is a spectacular event. It will go from bud to full open bloom in approximately 2.5 hours. They love a shady spot on a southern facing porch.

The piece sent to you will already have a root system and will be a minimum of 4-6" long. It will be ready to put in the dirt. Within a month, additional growth should be evident. This is a slow growing cactus in the summer months. Springtime will show an evident growth spurt. Sometimes amounting to more than an inch every few days.

Mine are planted in regular Miracle Grow potting soil and are doing excellent as you can see. The blooming one in the picture is over five years old.
