Description
The listing, United States postage 1949 first day cover air mail coil strip of 4 6 cent stamps. has ended.
United States postage 1949 first day cover air mail coil strip of 4 6 cent stamps. Postage for regular air mail at the time was only 6 cents. This is a highly desirable variety. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE* With destinations outside the US there is a high prevalence of complaints that the item never arrived. Whereas on eBay I have only had one such complaint and that item was returned to me. I ship everywhere FREE. I take pictures of every envelope I mail and the camera dates them automatically. On one occasion it took 40 days for an item I sent to arrive at a location outside the US.
On another occasion a bidder received positive feedback from me on 3-28 and on 4-01 complained that I had not responded and he had not rec'd the item. A whole 4 days had elapsed. As if this was not bad enough on 4-01 he left negative feedback for me.
Please allow 40 days before you make decisions on your sellers character that reflect mostly on you. I will ship everywhere in the world but I am not responsible for items once they leave the continental United States. In cases where it is warranted I will acquire a proof of mailing for $1.15. Postage costs $1.05 for a total of $2.20 out of my pocket to send items outside the US. Items that are not of premium value will be shipped direct mail with a scan showing the envelope mailed. That's the best I can do for out of the United States wins. If this is not sufficient I will have to limit my auctions. Enjoy.
Questions & Comments
You've found one of my weaknesses:multiple coil stamps on a FDC!!And an airmail to boot!!This is very nice, jerusalemslim.
Glad you like it. I have several more of the multiple coils especially in the liberty series. If two connected rather than 3 4 or 5 count I have several more on top of that. I am testing the water across the board right now with many different areas. My strongest is in early American. I've got a MOGHR up now. I'll put a Stanton up tomorrow used but nice. Thanks for your interest. Have a good time. I'm ready for that Bison block :)
