Some Natural Turquoise can be coated with resin. Can you tell from the back? ALso a quality piece will be strung with silk instead of polester thread. How long have you had it? Thanks

The back has a spacer bar on it.. I should put a picture up. Yes the thread looks like double strand braided silk. I just got it from a friend that I do the Gem Shows with; who needed my aluminum frame display cases for travel. It belonged to his father who has been buying & selling silver jewelry for many years. He just had heart surgery so his son was here selling it. I make a lot of jewelry so thought I would share with fellow Listians.
