I got one of these on Lisita and it didn't come with a power cord so I just got a box. You said "USB-Powered for Portability, eliminating the need for an external AC adapter" This is what I need if I don't neeed a power cord. Hope I don't need it. thanks for the listing. I bidded.

This is known as "phantom power" The device does not use any external power. It has two USB plugs that work in tandem to up/down load data and feed electrical power to the device at the same time. So, no need for power cords or adapters, or anything of the sort. Just plug and play with the USB

play and record CDs and DVDs. As mentioned in my description, it will read and write on them to include RW (rewriteable)
