Hello and welcome to my auction. We have a nice set of stamps here 1c to $1, a mix of Washington's and Franklin's. Some have very interesting cancels :)
2 1863 3 cent Washington's :)
1 1861 1 cent Franklin Ultramarine Scott's # 63a $600 with a Washington DC Cancel!!!!

i kinda feel stupid when it somes to stamps.... lol, but my brother is an insane collector when it comes to stamps and coins. might be a stupid question, but what is a "cancel"? sorry, had to ask X(

No problem :) A cancel is when a stamp has been used to mail something and therefore has a postmark on it canceling it from being used more than once. Depending on cancel may make it worth more such as the Washington DC cancel I have here :) Hope that helps
