This is the true story of the notorious Hewitts, a family in Texas that killed 33 people from 1969 to 1973. The beginning starts with 4 teens that try to escape being tortured hostages in their home. It takes place in 1969 Texas.

This is probably the second time this version of the story was made on video.

If you like blood and gore, then this is the movie for you! The popular part, where "leatherface" takes off the face of one of the hostages and puts it on himself is also in this movie.

The Rated version is rated R for Strong horror violence/gore, language and some sexual content. This is the UNRATED version, too shocking for theaters, as stated on the cover.

This movie came out in theaters October, 2008.

This dvd has a few scratches, no major ones. I watched it once and it played straight through without any problems.
