Description

The listing, UNIQUE 'GENOME' LED WATCH W/GIN has ended.

You are bidding on (1) BNWOT Genome Watch. A Japanese inspired red, yellow, and green LED watch.

A GREAT watch if you like to be a step ahead of everyone else. This watch a real conversation piece!

The Genome is very unique, with it's traffic light spectrum of red, yellow, and green molecular LED units randomly scattered (randomly generated by atmospheric noise instead of pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs!) amidst a darkly mirrored surface and then encased in Vibranium-Adamantium alloy. Tap the top button on the right side of the timepiece and watch the screen come to life like a long chain of nucleotides bubbling up from The Primordial Soup. Though it may seem like you'd have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what time it is - it's actually quite easy. Each red dot is one hour of time. Each yellow dot is five minutes of time, and each green dot is one minutes of time data.

Manufacturer Specifications:

Main Function: Japanese-inspired Red, Yellow, and Green LED digital watch.
Screen: Scattergraph molecular LED lights for time display.
Bracelet:Color: Black with white stitching;Material: Man-made leatherette;Length: ~ 185 mm.
Clasp: Classic buckle.
Function Buttons (right-side):Top (time display);Button (change mode).
Settings: Hour and minutes.
Power: CR2016 battery, pre-installed.

I will set the time to your personal time zone before I ship it :-) As stated, the battery is pre-installed, so it has been running since I removed the plastic shield in order to set the time and try it out. Other than that, and trying it on one time myself, the watch has not been worn.

A terrific gift, and just in time for
the 'Dads & Grads' season coming up!

Shipping is free, and will include delivery confirmation. I ship on the first Postal business day after I receive your shipping information via Listia's shipping address notification system.

Thanks for looking!

Weird indeed ... but it really caught my eye! Can you imagine the scenario ... a stranger asks you for the time, and you push the button and stick out your wrist for them to look themselves? I'd LOVE to see the reaction! I was tempted to put this on and experiment, but I wanted to keep the band looking as new as possible. I only put it on one time, to make sure the buckle functioned properly.

The one in the 6th photo shows 2:15. The camera blurred the red lights ... there are two of them.

Is this a larger watch more for a man? I have a grand daughter graduating but she is pretty dainty.

Good question ... this watch has enough holes in the band, that it 'can' be adjusted to fit a small wrist, but it is kind of bulky for a dainty wrist. I am large boned, and when I tried it on, it felt like a 'substantial' sized watch. I like 'daintier' things, and felt it was too bulky for me. Would you like me to post a photo of it on my wrist?

That's cool. It would completely confuse my students, and that's a plus. F&W

I have a watch almost exactly like this one except mine is blue and the LEDs are placed alittle different. They really are a neat piece of equipment. I use my watch everyday and get many compliments on it. Good luck with your auction :)

Also, I may not have the same watch, but I believe we purchased our watches from the same website. I am a fairly small person and have quite small wrists and the band fits fine and very comfortable. Hope I helped :)

Yes ... I posted photos of on me as well, and I have a large wrist. It fits a wide range of sizes. Even on my wrist, there was plenty of room for larger adjustment.
