I won this here a few months ago for a friend of mine and wouldn't ya know she switched companies before I got it so tis has also been sitting in a drawer for a few months. Boost Mobile is a pre paid service thru the Sprint network. This phone is a Blackberry so yes it is a smartphone, it is wifi capable, can download apps, have your email sent directly to your phone. If I had Boost I would keep it and use it. I love a blackberry. I can't say enough good things about a blackberry. This phone is old and does have scrapes and scratches, nothing that hinders the use of the phone at all. There is a usb cable charger that will be included with this. Thanks.
