Awesome Wind & Water Protection~I do not believe it is completely waterproof, But tag states Water & Wind Resistant. It has several "closures" to keep the wind/water from getting inside. Medium-weight. SHELL: 100% Nylon~Outer White Part of Shell is 100% Polyester MESH LINING: The Upper-half is 100% Polyester, LINING~Including Sleeves is 100% Nylon. Zip Front, under flap, One snap, at middle front, at hem and another at the very top. Zips all the way to under-nose, to cover neck, chin & mouth. Inner Toggles, at each side seam, Bottom of Jacket(hem.)To adjust and keep the wind completely out. They can lock together. Roomy Lined Pockets at each side(concealed) all Zippers have Columbia Logo Zipper pulls. The cuffs are elasticized(comfortably) but keep out the wind & wet. Another GREAT Feature is the Hood, not only gives you great coverage with adjustable Toggles, but makes the Jacket PACKABLE! It stuffs into itself for easy packing/carrying.
