Description
The listing, Lazy Daisy Millefoire Necklace by Stacey, with 2 pairs of earrings has ended.
This is a little longer than we normally make. At 24 inches there are Millefoire beads with yellow Swarovski crystals and gold spacers with some brown glass and black squares, with a few hematite accents.
Matching earrings feature the millefoire beads and an extra bonus pair of earrings with tiger's eye beads and hematite and bali spacers. All brand new on hypoallergenic wires.
FREE Shipping!
Thanks for looking at my other auctions of handmade jewelry and other stuff.
Questions & Comments
Wow, that's a lotta jewelry for one listing! Very pretty, love what you did with the millefiore beads. You need to hit some yard sales this weekend girl, look for more beads! Maybe you'll find enough to list some of them!
Thanks. I thought about putting the other earrings alone, but they don't do well on their own. They were just leftovers anyways. Hope that will make it even more tempting for someone to bid on.
I agree, single pairs of earrings don't do well unless they are solid gold or gemstones etc. That's a good strategy! I post a lot of 9 and 10-day auctions and it seems like they don't usually pick up speed until it gets closer to the end. Might not make that much difference to post them for four or five days, except that it gives people time to get more credits, I suppose.
I try to list at least three auctions every day just to get the 20 credits for free shipping/photo. After the first three Listia still seems to give you 10 credits for each listing though. For me that's close to 2,000 credits a month! I see a few members who post TONS of auctions that never get bids ... probably just to get the 10-20 credits each. Have you seen bootcampbargains? She has about 500 auctions listed all the time! She must have them set to automatically relist. I've never done that, and I wonder if you get any credits for an automatic relist (but I usually get bids, so they wouldn't relist anyway).
yeah I see what BootCampBargains does and I guess she figures if they keep listing someone will eventually need them. It must have taken forever to set it all up though. I do wonder if you get that on the auto relist. That is something to experiment with. My auctions can go for 3 or 4 days with no bids sometimes and Arbon is tempted and does at times delete the whole thing if it doesn't draw interest.
You know, you can end an auction without deleting it simply by setting it to a 3-day auction. If your listing has been on more than three days, it will end but stay on your "ended" list and you can go back and relist it whenever you want. I do that all the time.
Ending it creates a zero bid, though, and it messes with the stats between auctions ended and total feedback given. I'm pretty efficient about getting and giving feedback, so it becomes an annoyance more than anything to see the 0. Oh, the life of an OCD person... - A
Have you noticed that sometimes, a comment hasn't appeared yet? I get an e-mail every time you respond to one of my comments on your auctions, but often when I click through, your response isn't on the listing. I still think Listia's servers are getting overwhelmed pretty regularly and creating little glitches.
We've noticed that was well. E.g. This probably won't show up on the actual page until much later. ;) There are other tell-tale signs that listia needs a server upgrade, like the occasional locking up that it does.
I don't worry about the feedback matching. I've given lots of feedback and not gotten any in return, so my numbers will never be the same. If you end an auction by moving it to three days, when you relist it you can still set the opening bid and number of days however you want.
It's quite a challenge to keep Listia data organized. I have a system for saving all my addresses, so I don't have to ask for them every time, but otherwise I really don't worry about it. One of these days I'll try to figure out my average credits per auction, which might be revealing. Maybe Arbon would like to do that for me!
LOL, that's the problem, I haven't kept track of any of the numbers. Since no one can access my ended listings except me, it would be quite the project. Maybe I'll do that someday and surprise you with a column of numbers in a comment on your auctions. See if you can break the code LOL.
I have a book with all the auctions I have won and sold, including addresses so I can look back if I have a repeat buyer. I could add them up and tell how much I have spent and such I am only on auction number 196 though compared to your much HIGHER number of listings. :)
Y'know, you can't even access your historical account into to see how many credits you've earned, as far as I know. Ebay has a lot of data like that available to sellers, for four months back, which was always nice to have. I know how many auctions I've listed, but would have to add up all the credits, would really be a pain.
Yeah. :) but fun to know. You can go back and see your credit history on that first page where it lists the blue links on how to earn credits and stuff it shows your history of when you got what and when things were paid out. I am not sure how far back it goes though.
That's true ... not sure if that would be easier than just going back through the "ended" list. Either way it'll be a job to collect the data. From what I've seen Listia seems to be storing data all the way back to the beginning, but I haven't looked at the "credit history" history ... LOL
Well, yeah, with your amount of auctions. Though you've a ways to go still before you catch up to freestuff4you and others (top three in auctions listed).
I'm getting this started for you. Part of the problem may be that it's not summer colors. I've found that non-summery beads don't do very well right now either. If I win this for just a few credits, you need to keep it an try to relist it again, maybe closer to the fall or winter.
Jewelry (and beads) do seem to be somewhat seasonal.
i am waiting until last min to bi. i think it is very pretty. i am playing with making jewerly . so i hope to be good enough to have mine up here someday lol but very pretty
