the black scarf was bought at sterling linder by me, i have seen one just like it worn by actress jane russell in the movie gentlemen prefer blondes, she has the scarf around her head and shoulders when she is talking and walking around the boat at night with a man.i am getting old and getting rid of everything, it has been kept in a cedar chest.

I was born 1924, I bought one black and one white, i kept them in the cedar chest,i was going to wear them when i got older but never did, i have been getting rid of all my old cloths from the 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s.the black scarf you see is identical to the scarf worn by Actress Jane Russell in Gentle men prefer blondes in 1953..

i wish i could drink coffee, i travel every month to visit 3 children and 12 grandchildren in 15 different states. i am moving in with my granddaughter and have almost gotten rid of everything, i remember the depression and word war 2, i remember women did not drive because of the shift and clutch, street cars and soda parlors, everything was a slow pace, not like today.

My mother’s mother passsed when she was 6. Her husband my grandfather who I don’t remember passed when I was 4/5. Mom said I met him once . Don’t remember. We lived in Florida he lived in North Carolina. She had 1 sister who’s gone..
