These Ornamental Gourds have many uses. Grow them for fall table decorations or use them in garden as a natural accent. Can be grown on trellises and arbors. Harvest when gourds are ripe, leaving a small section of vine on the fruit.

Annual planting depth 1/2", Thin to 4'-6', full sun, 10 to 20 days germination, direct sow, maturity 100-120 days.

Garden Tips: For best germination, nick the seedcoat. Soak in lukewarm water for 24 hours before planting. Best to plant when soil temp. is 65 degree or higher.

Drying Tips: Pick gourds when entire vine is dry and brown. Handle gently and turn weekly as gourds dry in warm, airy place. Do not cut or decorate until completely dry and seeds rattle.
