Description
The listing, Peavey Electric Guitar has ended.
This auction is for a Peavey Electric Guitar. My husband is the only owner of this instrument. He took a few lessons and decided to put it down, so it never REALLY was played. Guitar comes with the case and is all original.
Because of the size, we will not be able to provide free shipping on this item (like I try to do on most of my other auctions), but the winner will be asked to pay exact shipping via paypal or money order. Local pick up is also available. Please feel free to ask any questions and to check out my other auctions. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
Questions & Comments
my zip is 84620 ill bid everything i have to try to when this if u let me know the shipping
also just asking but im pretty sure ur husband had an amp to go with this guitar.....r u going to auction that off? cuz i only have an acoustic and always wanted and electric
He used to have it and I'm not sure what he did with it when we got married. I will ask if he has stored it somewhere. It is possible that he has stored it in the shop of our rental property. :) I'll have to get back with you on that! :)
Yes it is a full size electric....I prefer paypal, but will accept money order. Based on an estimated weight of 10 lbs., UPS website is quoting me $17.67 to ship to this zip. Since this is an estimate, though, the price could be slightly higher or lower depending on the ACTUAL weight of the package when we go to ship it. :) Hope this helps!
$18.21 is the estimate that comes up on the UPS website. It could be slightly higher or lower than that since I don't know the exact weight of the package until it is ready to ship. It will at least give you an idea though. Good luck and happy bidding!
can i ask how much this guitar was? like how much did u pay for it? pretty sure paying 21.75 is worth it but just asking....oh and how does money order work?
I'm not sure...It was a Christmas present one year from his parents. I could try and find out from my mother in law because she is probably the one that actually purchased it. As far as money order, I would prefer to take paypal....just because I know it is secure, but we'll take money order...the only hold up with that is it would delay shipping until after the money order had been recieved. Paypal just makes things quicker, which is better for you....the buyer! :)
Katie428 maybe you should post your zip. everyone can see this item is in claxton GA. and they know it weighs 10 pounds. look up the zip and then go to usps and put in your zip for shipping and figure it out people! This is a fantastic auction! I hope you get alot more than what has been bid. Putting in a bid just becasue I know a few kids who would love this item.
Keeping everyone updated and explaining why I haven't been commenting quite as much.....two viruses have plagued our house over the past week and now my oldest has strep. I'll try to answer every question, but it may be difficult with strep going around our home now. Two babies...fevers....yeah...you get the picture! Anyway...if you would like to look up the amount yourself the package should be around 10 lbs and being shipped from 30417. Thanks! Good luck everyone and happy bidding!
I don't mind checking how much shipping would be for anyone.....more than likely it will be sent via UPS. Usually I send things USPS, but because of the size and shape we don't have a box to put this in and will have to go to the UPS store to get something to put it in....so we might as well send it UPS while we're there.
I'm showing on the UPS website around $17.03 to ship to this zip. But again...I'm estimating the weight of the package so it could be higher or lower than that. :)
We've tried selling it several times and the deal always has fallen through. Every time the buyer couldn't come up with the money. It's just taking up space in our house and with two very small kids it's just time for it to go. :D Nothing wrong with it....My husband just never learned and we don't need it.
BTW.....all of the shipping estimates that I've quoted people are just regular UPS ground. I could give prices to get it to somewhere quicker, but I just figure everyone is going to want to get it shipped the cheapest way possible. If you would like a quote to get it somewhere quicker than regular UPS ground, please let me know. :D
nice auction and nice beginner guitar. Is the neck straight or bent? what style strings are on the guitar or did it come pre stringed with the guitar? I am looking for a beginner guitar for my son since all mine or way to big for him and mine are more valuable lol. Fan and watching. I will bid at end of auction and the shipping woould be to my guitar shop in pa at 18091 which should be no more than 20.00 but let me know.
Neck is straight and it was pre-strung, so not sure exactly what style of strings are on it. My in-laws bought this as a beginning guitar for my husband and he just never really took to it. As far as shipping.....$17.06 is what is showing to this zip on the UPS website. :D Good luck and happy bidding!
I'm showing (roughly) $16.16 to ship via UPS, which is how we'll probably have to send it. I say roughly because I had to estimate how much the package would weigh and won't EXACTLY know that until it is shipped. :/ Hope that helps! :D
Katie428, This may make it a bit easier for you, cause I know finding out how much to each zip is time consuming. The United States is divided into only 3 shipping zones, as far as USPS goes (not sure about UPS, but most likely same). If you post, or update the shipping to the 3 ZONES, it may save some time. Took me a while to figure that one out. I hope it helps. Fanned and watching.
Thanks! That would help me some. I have 2 small kids (20 m. and 5 m.) so I don't have TONS of time to sit and find shipping for everyone. Didn't know that and will look into it. THANKS!
