Description

The listing, How to Make Bronzer/Bronzing Lotion has ended.

This is my formula for homemade bronzer/bronzing lotion. The bronzer is made from ingredients you can find in any local grocery store, and it takes all of five or ten minutes to make. Not to mention it costs (at most) a fifth of what you pay at the store. Plus, this recipe doesn't just work for one skin tone; it works for any! That's because I've made it adjustable. My adjustment key shows you how to customize the tone and tint for your unique skin. And even if you don't need a little bronze finish to your look, you can make the bronzer into lotion with a few more easy-to-get ingredients that most households already have. The lotion mildly exfoliates and stimulates skin while moisturizing and leaving a hint of spicy-sweet fragrance.

As an example, I've included a pic of my own bronzing lotion I made. My skin is naturally very fair (see Pic 2), so I made my lotion very light (Pic 1). I don't want to look like I have a fake tan---just a little hint of color for the darker months. Now that summer is almost here, I find myself using the lotion even more, because of its soothing smell and feel. (See Pics 2 and 3 for how the lotion looks on a fair-skinned face.)

The winner will be sent the formula and adjustment key via email or Listia Messages. The winner is responsible for contacting me after the auction. Expect to receive the message within a day.

NOTE: The lotion and bronzer aren't permanent, of course. You'll have to reapply after showers or in the morning. And as with any makeup product, you should gently wash the bronzer off every day to avoid clogging your pores.

Happy bidding!
