I have Gateway MX6455 laptop that had windows xp media center but I had a upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium fresh install no extra software. it has the following 1gb ram 120gb hard drive wireless b/g memory card reader 4 usb ports rj-45 rj-11 DVD Burner

yes when upgrading from xp to 7 you have to do a clean install i think i installed google chrome tho not a fan of ie

the operating system is windows 7 home premium it has a key for windows xp media center on the bottom also and the win 7 is a upgrade the key and upgrade files are on the desktop. it does have wireless too

How much ram and whats the processor. Do you have anything like word or other applications loaded on it.

it has 1gb of ddr 1(which is two 512mb sticks) can be upgraded to 2gb total it has open office which is the free version of office 03 it has writer(word) calc(excel) impress(power point) and avg free 9.0 anti virus
