actually there isnt much difference in a juniors or womens sizes large. it is all in the numbers, a misses runs the 2-4-6 a juniors sizes runs the 7-9-1-13 as a small is 5 mediums run 7-9 and larges 11-13 womesn sizes are the 8-10 for mediums and 12-14 for large so actually not really different its just the numbers game

also I would say this dress being a large is probably an 11-13 in a juniors as dont think they make this kind of dress for a womens style,maybe in the plus sizes but they seem to skip the really cute dresses for women so I wear a juniors large instead of a womans medium that way I can get all the cute things., I think I was off on my numbers I think womens small is 4-6 and medium is 8-10 and large is 12-14 so I just skipped a size lol
