True but the 1970D was only issued in the mint sets.The 1970S was sold individually.Both rare compared to the other years.Only 2,150,000 made of the 1970D and only 2,632,810 made of the 1970S coins.
hi-thanks for your astute imput---however,as you said silver /clad coins were issued in 40% silver from 1965 to 1970 in proof sets,special mint sets,and other sets up to 1970-all of these coins come from those sets-the coin is 40% silver as stated,also the govt did not issue non silver coins between 1965-1970.full clad coins started in 1971 --thanks again for comment
