The listing, ALTEC Speaker System (USED) has ended.

These were my brother's speakers before he gave them to me. I have since gotten a Sony iHome style stereo system and no longer need the older ones. They are in good condition with excellent sound quality.

ok i tested it on my iPhone, and the sound still comes out crisp and clean. I tried testing it with different EQ settings to see if it were any different, and the sound still came out very well. :) so go for it! Btw I should also mention that it includes the main stereo, the two miniature speakers, and the AC adapter to power the little speakers.

sadly, I do not know because I never used them. they were my older brother's, who gave them to me after he moved out, and they honestly just sat on my dresser for about 2 months before I decided to list them on here. he told me there were hardly any problems with the sound output, so I'll take his word for it and say there aren't any crackle noises.

the plug is the same as anaudio jack/line-in so I'm sure it will work with a home theater system.
