Items come from a non-smoking household. I do have cats....they don't smoke either.

Measurements are that of the garment....please make sure that your measurements are a little bit smaller to allow for a comfortable fit.

Instead of me measuring myself and feeling sick. i wear a sze 3x. would it fit me? my bra is a 40-42 d or dd depending on the maker.

I can't say for sure if it would fit you. A good way to decide is to take a similar type of dress that you already own that fits you comfortably and measure it, then compare to the measurements in this listing. Typically a 42 D is about 46" so it may be too snug in the bust. Hope that helps.
