It used to be that way. Not anymore. Just be aware that A LOT of items stamped "925" these days, definitely are not. One use to be safe in assuming that items marked or described as being "925", "Tibetan Silver" or "S80", were high in real silver content. But, that is no longer the case. Now, some of the sellers on here do not know that they are listing fake silver as sterling. But, unfortunately, some of them do know. And they are having no problem using it to cheat/ scam whomever they can, as fast as they can. I know for a fact that someone found out they had bad silver listed. And instead of having Listia delete the auction, they allowed it to continue. It ended with someone "GIN"ing the item for 10,000 credits. And as far s I know, they still have not said a word to anyone. How is that for disgusting? I better just leave it at that for now... I've probably said too much as it is. I guarantee you people are going to scream at me for telling the truth again. You'd think they would want to do that to the dishonest people, instead, huh? Nope. They come after me... It's almost funny if you think about it. Lol! I need to get some sleep. Nite. =)
