The listing, Topps lot 1958 #215 and 1965 #552 & #64 (Slight writing on cards) has ended.
Here we have some early Topps baseball cards, and while we have some nice cards (one 1958 and a high number 1965), they all have one trait in common: pen writing. Each card's condition will be listed below:
Lou Burdette (1965 #64) - edge/corner wear seems usual for the age. There's a big "B" written on the back toward the top of the "games" column, your guess is as good as mine.
Jim Gilliam (1958 #215) - Only noticible crease is in the top left corner, and a small more hidden crease front bottom. The back has one larger scribble in a W sort of shape, and the front has three smaller scribble-like features.
The minor highlight of this is Julio Gotay, which is number 552 of the 1965 set, a high number item. The card seems to be in better than average shape for its age, with the back corners being the only 'normal problem' (not a perfect blue in a corner or two.) And even with the writing, it's only the word "Seattle" written in red ink on the back, to the left of the card.
If you don't mind imperfect cards and love collecting vintage (or want to start), this lot is for you. As soon as I have an address to send the card to, I'll get it in the mail and will inform you once it is sent, so please give feedback once you get the item(s). I will let you know of any major delays in sending it out for any reason.
