The listing, Handmade purse 1930's has ended.

Beautiful handmade purse from the 1930's. It's in perfect condition inside and out except for the plastic handle which of course is starting to crumble with age. It can certainly be replaced if you like. Hand stitched lining with no stains or wear marks, which is amazing!

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know what verified means or how to get that way. I'm very new at this and have not had much time to explore. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!! As far as comfortable bidding, you won't find anyone who tries to always be honest more than I. Thanks for the compliment! It is the neatest crochet stitch I've ever seen. It's like a thin cord shaped in individual balls. Good luck.

I mean no disrespect, it just makes me curious how a purse, from the 20s could be in such prestine condition fabric wise, while the handle is crumbling? i have a vintage purse collection and one of my purses is similar to this one, the handmade part doesnt look true for the purse, i am not saying it is or isnt, for me, it just doesnt, and please do not replace the crumbling handle, thats one of the primary charms of this purse without it its not vintage at all, i maybe wrong its just my opinion, i wish you luck on your auction!

Aloha, thank you for your comment! The purse is from the 30's not 20's but still 80 years! I can't imagine the plastic material was that great back then an the lining may have been replace although my Mom made this in her 20's and I never actually ever saw it used in my lifetime...and I'm not sayin how old I am! Mom may have replaced the lining but it is incredible crochet work. I never quite figured the stitch out. Also the peacocks on the handle are really pretty. Thanks again!
