I’m Lotus River, my Buddhism name given to me when I was initiated into Zen Buddhism. I began working with crystals at age 12 (I’m 44) and I also practice Reiki, and I am a Reiki Master Teacher (RMT) for both humans & animals. I spent 27 years professionally in the animal field, have a Master’s Degree in Psychology and I am currently working on my PhD in Social Work & Human Services.

I started reading the Tarot (still have my 1st deck from when I was 12!!!) and have since delved into Numerology, Rune Stone Readings, Astrology Charting and I have been practicing Wicca most of my life, being more deeply involved for about the last 10 years.

~~~~~No, I don’t know what every crystal is. That’s impossible as every day I discover 10+ more I fall in love with. I have my favorites of course, and about 6 years ago I got the crystal I consider most valuable to me from this very site as a GIN bonus. It’s been my “go to” crystal since.

Suggestion? JUDY HALL is an excellent author of books on all kinds of crystals and what shapes and details mean. Excellent source and your brain doesn’t hurt from trying to memorize something that you can easily look up…
